Job summary

This on-site role requires CMA certification, good communication, and the ability to work flexible hours. Training is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have CMA certification in good standing with the State.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and charting.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends or holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by the physician and document administration.
• Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and room.
• Verify resident identity before administering medications.
• Record and report any medication errors or adverse reactions immediately.
• Follow policies on medication storage, labeling and dating.
• Assist with medication refills and monitor self-administration when applicable.
