Qualifications

• Must hold a CMA certification in good standing with the State.

Responsabilités

• Comply with Community policies and procedures.
• Follow nursing department policies.
• Report allegations of resident abuse/neglect to supervisor.
• Treat residents and staff with respect and dignity.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Maintain a clean medication cart and room.
• Accurately prepare, administer and document medications as ordered.
• Ensure medications are labeled, stored and dated properly.
• Document medication charting per policy.
• Follow procedures for handling discontinued medications and drug receipt errors.
• Honor the resident's right to refuse medications and document refusals.
• Notify supervisors of refusals or adverse reactions.
• Assist self-administration of medications under supervision.
