Job summary

Countryside Mental Health is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to assist in administering medications to residents under physician orders, under supervision from nursing leadership. You will follow established policies, maintain resident confidentiality, and document drug administration accurately.

The role requires CMA certification, CPR certification, English proficiency, and flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed in a care-focused facility setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CMA certification that is in good standing with the State.
• Must have a valid CPR certification.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by the attending physician under supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
• Report abuses or neglect immediately to appropriate supervisors.
• Document and chart medication administration accurately and promptly.
• Follow facility policies for storage, labeling and dating of medications.
