Homeplace of Henderson is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA/KMA) to safely administer prescribed medications under nurse supervision. You will maintain accurate documentation, follow state regulations, and support resident care with compassion and dignity.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and ongoing training to stay certified. You will assist with ADLs, monitor residents, and participate in shift reports to ensure quality care for our seniors.

Formación

• Must hold current Kentucky Medication Aide (KMA CMA I CMA II) certification in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as SRNA/CNA preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Compassionate, patient and team oriented attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately administer medications as prescribed by the physician and delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document medication administration, refusals, and variances according to policy and state guidelines.
• Observe residents for medication effectiveness and report concerns promptly to the licensed nurse.
• Maintain proper storage, security, and accountability of medications.
• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide care with respect, compassion, and confidentiality.
• Perform vital signs and other trained procedures as directed by management.
• Assist with meal service and feeding as needed, ensuring safety and nutrition.
