Strong attention to detail and professional teamwork are essential for success. The role requires current Texas Medication Aide certification, experience with medication administration, and clear communication.

Formación

• Hold a current Texas Medication Aide certification.
• 2) Experience in administering medications per orders.
• 3) Ability to document accurately and communicate with the care team.

Responsabilidades

• Administer prescribed PO, topical, and rectal medications per orders and policy.
• 2) Monitor for adverse reactions and changes in resident status.
• 3) Document all medication administration clearly and accurately.
• 4) Maintain secure medication storage and a hazard-free environment.
• 5) Protect resident privacy and confidentiality of information.
• 6) Follow infection control procedures during medication administration.
• 7) Report any medication errors promptly to the Charge Nurse.
