• Texas Medication Aide certification required.
• Experience with medication administration procedures preferred.
• Clear communication, patience, and professionalism are essential.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation required.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications (oral, topical, and rectal) per orders and policy.
• Monitor residents for adverse reactions and changes in status and report promptly.
• Document all medication administration accurately in the system.
• Maintain a secure medication cart and a safe environment.
• Protect resident privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Follow infection control procedures during medication administration.
• Immediately report any medication errors to the Charge Nurse.
