Job summary

Devine Health and Rehab is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to support resident care with precision and compassion. You will administer prescribed medications, monitor for adverse reactions, and document administration according to policy.

This role requires Texas certification, reliability, strong attention to detail, and a team-oriented attitude. You will maintain a safe medication cart, protect resident privacy, follow infection control procedures, and promptly report errors to the Charge

Qualifications

• Current Texas Medication Aide certification.
• Experience and competence in medication administration procedures.
• Clear communication with patience and professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications (PO/topical/rectal) per orders and policy.
• Monitor for adverse reactions or changes in resident status and report.
• Document all medication administration accurately per policy.
• Maintain a safe, organized medication cart and environment.
• Protect resident privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Follow infection control procedures during medication administration.
• Immediately report any medication errors to the Charge Nurse.
