Qualifications

• Holds a Texas Medication Aide certification.
• Experience with medication administration procedures.
• Clear communication and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications per orders and policy.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and changes in resident status.
• Document medication administration accurately.
• Maintain medication cart safety and a hazard-free environment.
• Protect resident privacy and confidentiality.
• Follow infection control procedures during medication handling.
• Report any medication errors to the Charge Nurse immediately.
