Job summary

Stevens Park Health & Rehab in Augusta, GA is seeking a certified medication aide to join our dedicated team. This full-time role administers physician-ordered medications and conducts point-of-care testing following clinical guidelines.

You will document administrations, store and dispose of medications properly, and provide routine patient care. Applicants must have GA CNA and CMA certifications, and a high school diploma. We offer weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (GA) certification required.
• Certified Medication Aide (GA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer physician-ordered medications and treatments per guidelines.
• Administer insulin, epinephrine, and B12 as directed.
• Perform finger-stick blood glucose testing per guidelines.
• Document medication administration and any declinations.
• Store and dispose of medications properly.
• Provide routine patient care (bathing, grooming, dressing) as needed.
• Report changes to the licensed nurse and care team.
