Job summary

Harrington Park Health & Rehab in Augusta, GA is seeking a Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant and Certified Medication Aide to administer physician-ordered medications and provide routine patient care in a compassionate setting.

You will document care, follow clinical guidelines, and collaborate with a supportive team to ensure resident safety and dignity. This role emphasizes accuracy and patient-centered communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Nursing Aide in Georgia (CNA) certification required.
• Certified Medication Aide in Georgia (CMA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer physician-ordered oral, ophthalmic, topical, otic, nasal, vaginal and rectal medications.
• Administer insulin, epinephrine, and B12 under physician direction and guidelines.
• Conduct finger stick blood glucose testing per guidelines.
• Document medication administration and any declination in the resident’s record.
• Store and dispose of medications properly.
• Provide routine patient care (bathing, grooming, dressing) as needed.
• Report unusual reactions to medications to the nurse and health care provider.
