Sapphire Health Services, LLC in Sheridan, OR is seeking a reliable Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to support our care team. The CMA administers prescribed meds, monitors residents, and assists with daily living activities in a warm, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Active CMA license in the state of practice.
• Completed CMA training program.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to resident care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and assist with mobility.
• Pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per physician orders and policies.
• Document medication administration accurately in MAR.
• Monitor residents for changes or adverse reactions and report promptly.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility as needed.
• Provide compassionate, respectful care and preserve dignity.
• Follow infection control guidelines and facility procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation for care and meds.
• Secure and account for all medications per policy.
• Collaborate with nurses and care team for continuity of care.
• Participate in care plan meetings and resident assessments.
• Chart appropriate documentation and maintain confidentiality.
• Coordinate with staff to monitor changes in condition.
