Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 18 preferred. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Completes yearly competency testing and maintains continuing education credits (minimum 12 hours annually); may require a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision of a charge nurse.
• Assist with meals, dining, hydration, and nourishment to create a positive dining experience.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse and document care, med administration, and vital signs.
• Provide housekeeping and laundry assistance and support wellness and recreational activities.
