Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• CNA certification per state requirements; CMA/CMA-eligible training may be needed.
• Must hold CMA or CMA-equivalent certification where applicable (state specifics).
• May require valid driver's license and auto insurance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications as delegated and within scope of practice.
• Documents patient outcomes, meds, behavior, activity, and diet.
• Communicates changes in condition and care needs to the charge nurse.
• Collects non-invasive specimens and records vital signs.
• Provides housekeeping and laundry assistance to keep resident areas clean.
• Supports wellness and recreational activities and documents participation.
• Participates in department or organization committees as needed.
