Job summary

McPherson Health and Rehab is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our compassionate team in Kansas. This permanent role offers a competitive benefits package and stable full-time hours across 12-hour shifts (6am–6pm).

You will pass medications as prescribed, provide direct resident care under a licensed nurse, and report changes in condition while upholding HIPAA and facility policies. Prior geriatric care is valued; CPR certification and a Kansas CMA license are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Kansas CMA license.
• CPR certification is required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Desire to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications as prescribed by the physician.
• Provide direct care to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with policies.
• Observe and report changes in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite or behavior; uphold HIPAA and facility policies.
