Job summary

Carillon Senior Living in Lubbock, TX is seeking a CNA to join our Health Center team. You will support residents' health, provide personal care, and document care on the Daily Care Record while assisting licensed staff.

Qualifications

• Holds Texas Nursing Assistant Certification or approved equivalent.
• Completes required competency evaluation per state guidelines.
• CPR-Healthcare Provider preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Promotes a courteous, calm atmosphere for residents.
• Ability to assist licensed and charge nurses as needed.
• Works cooperatively with other healthcare professionals.
• Shows understanding of growth and development relevant to care.

Responsibilities

• Support residents' physical and mental health needs.
• Bathe residents and provide personal care as scheduled.
• Record medications and care on the Daily Care Record.
• Report changes to the Charge Nurse promptly.
• Utilize charge sheets daily for documentation.
• Round with oncoming staff and monitor hourly conditions.
• Assist lifts/transfers with proper safety equipment.
• Offer ice water and assist with feeding and portions.
• Maintain dining area sanitation and service flow.
• Attend and apply training and in-service sessions.
