Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• United States Citizenship or evidence of a valid Alien Work Permit.
• Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in this state.
• Certified as Registered Medication Aide in this state.
• Six months experience in an assisted living community preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to privacy, dignity, independence, choice, and individuality of residents.
• Adhere to HIPAA privacy policies and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality of information pertaining to clients, families and employees
• Completes care documentation timely and accurately
• Helps residents with personal care functions as needed
• Dispenses medications under the direction of a licensed nurse according to established procedures
• Supervises the residents medications under the direction of the service plan according to established procedures and regulations
• Observes and documents care performed and reports observations
