Overland Park SNF Healthcare, LLC is seeking a licensed Medication Aide to assist in administering medications to residents under physician orders and supervision. You will follow facility policies and document administration, and collaborate with nurses, pharmacists, and the Medical Director.

The role requires following QA processes, reporting medication errors, keeping accurate charts, and maintaining resident safety while protecting privacy.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.

Responsabilités

• Follow the policies and procedures of the facility governing the administering of medications to residents.
• Note and report errors in the administration of medications.
• Prepare, administer, and document oral and/or topical medications as ordered by the physician or Medical Director.
• Verify the identity of the resident prior to administering medication.
• Maintain documentation and records related to medication administration.
• Participate in Quality Assurance programs and related committees concerning medication pass.
