Job summary

The role requires a valid Medication Aide Licensure, English proficiency, and compassion for older adults. Responsibilities include cart upkeep, training attendance, and accurate medication records.

Qualifications

• Must have Medication Aide Licensure.
• Experience in caregiving to older adults preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Desire to work with older adults.
• Required medication training.
• Integrity.

Responsibilities

• Properly assist with/administer scheduled medications according to state regulations and residence policy.
• Provide personalized care and services to residents, uphold residence policies and procedures.
• Ensure residents’ rights to safe, prompt, and confidential treatment.
• Observe residents for adverse reactions and report to Wellness Nurse or supervisor.
• Attend regular staff meetings and required training sessions.
• Maintain a neat, clean medication cart/cabinet and restock as needed.
