Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to assist with scheduled medications and provide comprehensive care to residents at our GA location. You will follow six rights of medication administration, document MAR entries, and support residents' physical, emotional, and medical needs in a respectful, confidential manner.

You will collaborate with the Wellness Nurse and care team, ensuring safety, privacy, and adherence to residence policies while maintaining accurate records

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Medication Aide in Georgia.
• Experience in caregiving for older adults preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Desire to work with older adults.
• Required medication training.
• Integrity and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with/administer scheduled medications according to state regulations and residence policy.
• Provide personalized care and services to residents while upholding residents' rights and privacy.
• Communicate changes in residents' condition to the Wellness Nurse or supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents' records and follow infection control procedures.
• Attend required trainings and contribute to a safe, respectful care environment.
