Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to administer medications and provide compassionate care under the supervision of a licensed nurse in a residential setting in Arkansas.

The CMA will handle oral, inhaled, topical, and other non-invasive treatments, document activity on MAR, and monitor residents for reactions and vital signs. Duties include safe transfers, attendance at trainings, and adherence to federal/state regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold an Arkansas state license as CMA.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral medications, inhalers, topical and ocular treatments.
• Perform non-invasive treatments and monitor residents.
• Record medications given on MAR and report to nurse on duty.
• Monitor vital signs and document any adverse reactions.
• Assist residents with lifts, transfers, and mobility as needed.
• Attend mandatory meetings and participate in med pass audits.
• Follow all regulations and company policies and procedures.
