Job summary

NHC Healthcare Glasgow is seeking Certified Medication Aides to join our nursing team. This role requires current CMA/CNA certification and a strong focus on patient care.

You will administer daily medications, assist with activities of daily living, and work closely with Licensed Nurses to ensure safe, compassionate care. Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide/CNA required or current certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to follow physician orders and report changes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine daily medications to patients as ordered.
• Coordinate with Licensed Nurses to assist with patient care and medications.
• Follow orders in detail on how to manage medications.
• Record medications administered.
• Observe patients and document changes and report to the Licensed Nurse.
• Gather samples for analysis as ordered.
• Ensure equipment is routinely inspected and cleaned.
• Uphold all health and safety standards.
• Respond to patient emergency signals.
