You will collaborate with nurses and pharmacists, ensure resident safety, and participate in ongoing education and compliance with HIPAA and facility procedures.

Qualifications

• Current C.N.A certification issued by the State.
• Current Certified Medication Aide certification.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescription medication at the appropriate times for assigned unit during shift.
• Sign off on all medications at the time of administration.
• Real-time documentation of medication administration.
• Follow the facility policies and procedures governing medication administration.
• Report errors or adverse reactions to supervising staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
