Accura HealthCare of Ames is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our nursing team. The CMA will administer medications, assist with personal care, and work under the direction of licensed nurses in a supportive, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold current CMA certification with applicable state, without restrictions, and/or ability to obtain a state-specific certification (includes current CNA certification).
• Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Certified Medication Aides are responsible for administering medications, assessing information, and performing treatments in coordination with the resident’s care plan, the facility’s policies and procedures, and state and federal regulations.
