Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Certified Medication Assistant for our long-term care residents. The CMA will provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse, including medication administration as delegated and vital signs collection.

You will assist with transfers, meals, and activities, while documenting outcomes and communicating changes to the charge nurse. The shift is 6am-2pm with rotating weekends/holidays, in a 40-hour workweek across the upper

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age 18.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Annual continuing education credits per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document care, medication administration, vital signs, and changes in condition.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, meals, and recreational activities.
