Job summary

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with regulations and facility policy.
• Observes and records medication administration and patient responses.
• Maintains medication safety by verifying five rights and proper storage.
• Records medication administration in the computer system as required.
• Responds to resident call lights and supports resident safety and comfort.
• Notifies licensed staff of pain, changes in condition, or adverse reactions.
