Job summary

Stevens Park Health & Rehab in Georgia is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to administer physician-ordered medications and provide daily resident care in a compassionate, mission-driven setting.

Pay ranges from $18.93 to $21.25 per hour with shift differentials for evenings, nights and weekends. Weekly pay and a benefits package including PTO, holidays, vision insurance, 401(k) with match, and a referral bonus program are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Nursing Aide in Georgia.
• Certified Medication Aide in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Administer physician-ordered medications (oral, ophthalmic, topical, otic, nasal, vaginal, rectal).
• Administer insulin, epinephrine, and B12 per physician direction and guidelines.
• Administer medications via metered dose inhaler.
• Conduct finger-stick blood glucose testing.
• Document medication administration and/or declination per guidelines.
• Report unusual reactions to medications to the resident, family and health care provider.
• Properly store and dispose of medications.
• Provide routine patient care (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Complete dressing changes and report changes to the licensed nurse.
