Harrington Park Health & Rehab is seeking a Part Time: Day Certified Medication Aide to join our dedicated team in Augusta, GA. The role involves administering physician-ordered medications and routine care under established guidelines, with opportunities for growth and supportive leadership.

Starting pay ranges from $18.93 to $21.25 per hour with evening, night, and weekend shift differentials. Weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package are provided in a non-profit, mission-driven setting.

Formación

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Georgia Certified Nursing Aide.
• Georgia Certified Medication Aide.

Responsabilidades

• Administer physician-ordered oral, ophthalmic, topical, otic, nasal, vaginal and rectal medications.
• Administer insulin, epinephrine, and B12 per physician direction and guidelines.
• Administer medications via metered dose inhaler.
• Perform finger stick glucose testing per guidelines.
• Document medication administration/declination in resident records.
• Report unusual reactions to medications to health care provider and family.
• Store and dispose of medications properly.
• Provide routine patient care such as bathing, grooming, dressing as needed.
• Complete dressing changes and report changes to the licensed nurse.
