Job summary

Heritage Inn Statesboro is seeking a Certified Nursing Aide and Certified Medication Aide to administer physician-ordered medications and provide routine patient care in a compassionate, non-profit environment. You will document care, follow clinical guidelines, and collaborate with the health care team to support residents’ well-being.

Position offers evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, benefits, and weekly pay. Requires GA CNA and CMA certifications and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Georgia CNA certification required.
• Georgia CMA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer physician-ordered medications (oral, ophthalmic, topical, otic, nasal, vaginal, rectal).
• Administer insulin, epinephrine, and B12 as directed.
• Administer medications via metered dose inhaler.
• Perform finger-stick glucose testing per guidelines.
• Document medication administration and declinations.
• Report unusual reactions and communicate with residents, families, and providers.
• Store and dispose of medications properly.
• Provide routine patient care (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Complete wound dressing changes per physician orders and guidelines.
