Job summary

Avir Trilogy in Hearne, TX is looking for a Certified Medication Aide to provide direct care to residents in our long‑term care community. You will administer medications under supervision and support daily living activities.

The role requires CMA certification in Texas, a high school diploma, and strong communication skills. BLS training or willingness to obtain within 4 months of hire is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification required in Texas.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration under licensed nurse supervision.
• Monitor resident condition, vital signs, and reactions.
• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with ADLs and mobility support as needed.
• Document care and medication administration per policy.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team on individualized care plans.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
