Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CMA certification in the state of Texas is required.
• BLS training certification or willingness to obtain within 4 months of hire.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the administration of medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition, vital signs, and medication reactions.
• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Assist with ADLs such as eating, mobility, and hygiene.
• Document resident care and medication administration per company policies.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
