Qualifications
- Must be certified as Medication Aide in Alabama.
- Experience in healthcare, preferably in long-term care.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication with patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to patients as prescribed by physicians or other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report changes to healthcare staff.
- Assist with vital signs and documentation of medication administration.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
