Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications according to orders and facility policies, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and patient records, adhering to facility protocols and HIPAA regulations.
• Monitor patients for medication effectiveness, adverse reactions, or changes in condition, reporting concerns to licensed nurses.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
• Measure and record vital signs when required, maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning of residents, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain clean, organized, and stocked medication carts and supplies, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
• Uphold HIPAA and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Follow established protocols for medication administration, infection control, and safety.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and emergency situations, providing compassionate and timely care.
