Certified Medication Aide (PRN)

The Tradition Senior Living (TSL) is a Texas-based luxury senior living organization offered across Dallas, Houston, and Fort Worth. We provide comprehensive care through Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. TSL is committed to excellence in resident care and a supportive work environment.

We are currently seeking a Certified Medication Aide at our Tradition - Clearfork community. In this role you will administer oral and topical medications to residents under scope of practice, performing tasks as ordered by a physician, supervised by a licensed nurse, and in accordance with state and federal rules and regulations, consistent with community policies. The CMA reports directly to our Healthcare Director who oversees day‑to‑day operations of the community's Healthcare department.

Responsibilities
  • Provide required support to assist residents.
  • Take and record vital signs, such as temperature and blood‑pressure, as directed by medical or nursing staff.
  • Make routine rounds on assigned residents according to established procedures.
  • Promptly communicate any significant changes in behavior or condition to supervisor.
Required
  • State certification as a nursing assistant.
  • State approved medication administration certification – Texas CMA permit.
  • Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nursing assistant.
  • Highly developed observation skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read medication labels.
