Job summary

Harmony Utica Ridge is seeking Certified Medication Aides to join our skilled nursing team. You will ensure residents receive the medications they need, perform activities of daily living, observe changes in condition, and help maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, an Iowa CNA certificate, Iowa-approved Medication Aide training, and CPR certification. One year of CNA and Medication Aide experience is preferred, and we are willing to invest in

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor residents' conditions as prescribed.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Observe and report changes in residents' status to the nursing team.

As a Medication Aide you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Harmony Utica Ridge by providing our residents with the medications they need, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate, successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training and C.P.R. certification. One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
