Harmony House Care Center is seeking Certified Medication Aides for 2nd shift, with both full-time and part-time opportunities. The role involves administering medications, assisting with daily living tasks, monitoring residents, and maintaining a safe environment.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, Iowa CNA certificate, Iowa-approved Medication Aide training, and CPR certification. One year of CNA/Medication Aide experience is preferable.

As a Medication Aide you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Harmony House Care Center by providing our residents with the medications they need, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education.

Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate, successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training and C.P.R. certification. One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
