Harmony Cedar Rapids is hiring CNAs who are Certified Medication Aides to join our caring team. Compensation reflects weekend and top shift differentials with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Unencumbered Iowa CNA certificate required.
• Medication Aide training approved by Iowa required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provide medications to residents and ensure administration according to care plans.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and monitor changes in condition.
• Maintain safe, clean environment and document care data accurately.

As a Certified Medication Aide you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Harmony Cedar Rapids by providing our residents with the medications they need, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate, successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training and C.P.R. certification. One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
