Job summary

Parkview Senior Living, part of Western Home Communities, is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide compassionate care to residents. You will work under the nurse’s guidance and with a supportive team to meet each resident’s care plan.

You will assist with daily activities, ensure timely responses to requests, maintain charts, and uphold residents’ dignity.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active Iowa CNA license.
• Must possess an active Iowa CMA certification.
• Compassionate, kind, and respectful with a servant’s heart.
• Experience in nursing care is a plus; training available.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to residents under the guidance of the nurse and in collaboration with the team.
• Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, mobility, and personal hygiene.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and deliver care per individual care plans.
• Maintain accurate charts and communicate effectively with the team to ensure best outcomes.
• Uphold residents’ rights and dignity at all times.

Your Role as a CNA/CMA:

What You’ll Need:

• Must possess a current active license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Iowa.
• Must possess a current active certification to practice as a Certified Medication Aide (CNA) in Iowa.
• A compassionate, kind, and respectful nature with a true servant’s heart
• Experience in nursing care is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person!
