Job Summary

A Certified Medication Aide (CMA) will administer medications to residents following established policies, procedures, and regulations. Sapphire provides training and resources to support your skills and engagement as a CMA.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Seek assistance from licensed staff as needed
• Ensure medications are given correctly and documented properly
• Maintain confidentiality
• Monitor resident condition in collaboration with nurse supervisor
• Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and families
• Support a compassionate environment
• Adhere to facility policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Active CMA license or CNA license with proof of CMA program enrollment
