Make a Difference in Senior Care: Certified Medication Aide Needed at Asbury Heights!

Schedule available: 6:30am - 2:30pm; 2-10:30pm and 3p-11p

Asbury Heights is seeking a dedicated and qualified Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team! In this crucial role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents by accurately administering medications according to physician orders.

About Your Role:

  • Accurately measure, prepare, and administer medications to residents according to physician prescriptions and established protocols.
  • Monitor residents for any adverse reactions to medications and report concerns to the nurse promptly.
  • Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
  • Assist residents with medication reminders and ensure proper medication adherence.
  • Collaborate effectively with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized medication dispensing area.
  • Uphold the highest standards of resident safety and confidentiality.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Possesses a current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Has a minimum of 1 year of experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in senior care.
  • Demonstrates strong compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to serve seniors.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered care.
