Iris Memory Care of Edmond is seeking Certified Medication Aides (CMA) to join our memory care community in Edmond, OK. The role involves administering medications, assisting with ADLs, and supporting enrichment activities in a home-like setting.

We value warmth, patience, and a genuine compassion for residents living with memory loss. Requirements include CMA certification and Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry active status; experience in memory care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active listing on the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry (required).
• Current Certified Medication Aide certification (required).
• Minimum one year of experience working with older adults preferred.
• Experience in memory care or with dementia residents strongly preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Genuine warmth, patience, and compassion for those living with memory loss.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and in accordance with physician orders and community protocols.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal care, dining, and mobility.
• Support residents with life enrichment activities and social-recreational programming.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, home-like environment.
• Monitor and document vital signs and monthly weights.
• Offer emotional and physical comfort and support to residents and families.
