Job summary

Legend Senior Living in Florida is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to ensure safe administration of medications and support residents with daily living activities.

You will document tasks, coordinate with the health care team, and respond to residents' comfort needs while adhering to policies. Evening and weekend shifts may be required, with attendance bonuses and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid CMA certification as required by state regulations.
• Experience assisting with medications and resident care.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with Medications for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundry, meals
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

We are looking for a committed individual with required certifications for a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities of this position would include but not be limited to:

• Assistance with Medications for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
