Legend Senior Living® in Wichita, KS, is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to coordinate medication administration and assist residents with daily living activities.

The CMA will support residents with personal care, monitor comfort, and document care and medication tasks, reporting any urgent needs to the Health Care Director. Evening and weekend work may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) approved to pass medications per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medications for all assigned residents.
• Assist with daily resident care including personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals.
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional comfort and respond as needed.
• Document completed tasks such as daily shift reports and resident records.
• Confidentially communicate needs and concerns to the Health Care Director.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift.

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the nursing team as a Certified Medication Aide (C.M.A.). You will make a difference in the lives of residents by coordinating their medication administration and assisting them with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities--Certified Medication Aide (CMA)

• Assistance with Medications for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
