A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PRN CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE (CMA)
As a Certified Medication Aid (CMA), you play a vital role in our community. You pass medications as prescribed by the physician and provide direct care to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
You observe and report any changes in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, and behavior. You maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements, upholding our facility policies. Your warm and friendly demeanor helps you provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues. Your dedication makes a difference, making you a great fit for this CMA position!
Qualifications For a PRN Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
Experience in geriatric nursing is preferred but not required. Are you trustworthy, respectful, dependable, professional, and a team player? Do you enjoy caring for seniors and establishing rapport? If yes, you might be perfect for this role!
WORK SCHEDULE
This PRN position involves 12-hour shifts.
