Job summary

Bloomfield Care Center is seeking Certified Medication Aides to join our caring team. You will administer medications, assist with daily living activities, and monitor residents’ conditions to maintain a high standard of care.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, an Iowa CNA certificate, CMA training, and CPR certification. We offer tuition reimbursement, growth opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Front line of the Clinical Department ensuring residents receive medications.
• Perform Activities of Daily Living and observe changes in condition.
• Maintain a safe environment and ensure resident comfort and safety.
• Provide education to residents and families as needed.

As a Medication Aide you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Bloomfield Care Center by providing our residents with the medications they need, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate, successful completion of State of Iowa approved Certified Medication Aide training and C.P.R. certification. One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
