Bloomfield Care Center in Bloomfield, IA is seeking Certified Medication Aides to join our friendly, caring team. You will administer medications, assist residents with daily living activities, and monitor changes in condition to ensure safety and comfort.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, an Iowa CNA certificate, completion of Iowa CMA training, CPR certification, and preferably 1 year of CNA and Medication Aide experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Unencumbered Iowa CNA certificate required.
• Completion of State of Iowa CMA training and CPR certification.
• 1 year CNA and CMA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents.

As a Medication Aide you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Bloomfield Care Center by providing our residents with the medications they need, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate, successful completion of State of Iowa approved Certified Medication Aide training and C.P.R. certification. One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
