Valley Vue Care Center is seeking a PRN on-call Certified Medication Aide to join our skilled nursing team. You will be responsible for administering medications, assisting residents with daily activities, and monitoring health changes to ensure high-quality care in a compassionate setting.

Applicants should have an Iowa CNA license, completed Medication Aide training, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of CNA/medication aide experience is preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

As a Certified Medication Aide you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Valley Vue Care Center by providing our residents with the medications they need, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have: As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate, successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training and C.P.R. certification. One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
