Job summary

Maple Manor Village is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to join our caring nursing team on the 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM). The role includes administering medications, assisting residents with daily living activities, and monitoring health changes in a supportive, team-based environment.

Qualified candidates will hold an Iowa CNA certificate, complete state-approved Medication Aide training, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of Iowa CNA certificate, successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training and CPR certification.
• One year of CNA and Medication Aide experience is preferable but the employer is willing to invest in the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Provide medications and assist with Activities of Daily Living.
• Monitor residents and observe changes in condition.
• Maintain a safe environment and ensure residents' comfort and safety.

As a Certified Medication Aide you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Maple Manor Village by providing our residents with the medications they need, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate, successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training and C.P.R. certification. One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
