Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by the attending physician under supervision and in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized medication cart and medication room; ensure proper labeling and dating of medications and complete charting.
• Document and report any medication errors or refusals immediately.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and support the nursing team as needed.
• Observe and verify medication ingestion or application and notify the appropriate nurse of any reactions or refusals.
