Job summary

San Antonio Wellness and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to support resident care under the charge nurse's supervision. The role runs 7am–7pm in a full-time schedule with double weekend shift differential.

Responsibilities include timely med passes, adherence to charting guidelines, and cooperation in meetings and trainings. Requires English communication and a current CMA certification; prior patient care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English through both speech and writing.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.

Responsibilities

• Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder.
• Participates in all assigned meetings, trainings, education and in-service as required.
• Inventory documentation of drugs on appropriate forms.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.
