Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to coordinate medication administration and assist residents with daily living activities. This role requires CMA certification, compassionate care, and ability to document tasks while communicating with the health care team.

Qualifications

• Must hold CMA certification as required by state regulations.
• Experience assisting residents with daily living activities and medications is preferred.
• Proficiency in documenting care and communicating with healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with medications for all assigned residents.
• Assist with daily care: personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals.
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional comfort and respond as needed.
• Document completed tasks: daily shift reports and resident records.
• Communicate urgent needs and concerns clearly to Health Care Director.
• Manage assigned tasks within the shift and adhere to safety guidelines.

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the nursing team as a Certified Medication Aide (C.M.A.). You will make a difference in the lives of residents by coordinating their medication administration and assisting them with activities of daily living.

Requirements

We are looking for a committed individual with required certifications for a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities of this position would include but not be limited to:

• Assistance with Medications for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
